In-home care
Personal Care
Everyday help with the personal routines that keep someone clean, comfortable and steady on their feet — done privately, patiently and on their terms.
Who it’s for
Personal Care, the Harmony & Heart way
Needing help with a shower or getting dressed can feel like a loss of independence. Our job is to make it feel like the opposite: support that lets your loved one keep living at home, in their own routines, with their dignity fully intact.
We start by listening — how they like things done, what time they like to get up, what matters most to them — and build the visit around that.
What it can include
What personal care can look like
Every plan is personal. These are examples of the help a visit can include.
- Bathing, showering and toileting support
- Dressing, grooming and oral care
- Help getting in and out of bed or a chair
- Steadying support while walking around the home
- Medication reminders (reminders only — not administration)
- Gentle encouragement to eat and drink well
Our approach
Their routine, not ours
Morning person or night owl, bath or shower, coffee first — the care plan follows the way your loved one already lives. The goal is for every visit to feel familiar.
Privacy and dignity, always
We explain what we are doing, ask before we help, and let them do everything they can for themselves. Support should build confidence, not take it away.

Questions
Personal Care: common questions
01Do you provide medical or nursing care?
Our in-home support is non-medical: personal care, companionship and help around the house. If your loved one needs skilled nursing or therapy, call us and we will talk through what kind of provider fits.
02Can you help with medications?
We can give friendly reminders so medications are taken on time. Caregivers do not administer or manage medication.
03How do we get started?
Call (724) 415-5595 or send the contact form. We will talk through what is going on, what kind of help would make the biggest difference, and the next steps.
